I have some issues with heart problems, and I have been in cardiac rehab for a couple of weeks.

Yesterday, we had a special class on nutrition before our workout. It was a great class on what we should and shouldn’t eat. There was one little problem. There was a man in the class that kept interrupting the speaker. He kept bragging about how careful he was about eating and kept giving suggestions to the speaker on what she should be telling us. The speaker had to firmly tell him to cork it!

I was sitting there asking myself: “If this guy is such a good eater and has all the answers on what we should do to be healthy, why is he in cardiac rehab?”

I have read somewhere, that no matter how careful you are with your eating, or how rich you are, you still die. Now that seems to be a harsh statement. I thought it was for a long time until I realized that man is not perfect. Only God and His only begotten Son are perfect.

We will all die sooner or later, but there is hope for each of us. We can have eternal life if we believe in the Lord. It isn’t hard to do. All you have to do is confess that your aren’t perfect; confess your sins, and accepted Jesus into your heart. Done deal!!

You need not fear death any more. It is just a transition time in your life. The next stop is eternal joy and peace.

Remember:

You are never alone.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!
