What can we do as parents to be a good example to our children? We should realize that everything we do is being watch by them.

We are living in an, “Monkey see, monkey do,” world. If you are a kind and understanding parent, your children will probably be kind and understand. If you drink, your children will probably drink. If you take drugs, your children will probably take drugs. I think you get the picture.

Take an inventory of your life. What do you see? Is your life one you would be glad for your children to have?

I wasn’t always the perfect parent. Sometimes far from it, but I stuck to my Christian principles, and raised children that did the same. All three of my children are Christians, and they married Christian spouses.

You can say my job is done here on earth, but we are to be examples until we take our last breath.

“Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World,” is a book I wrote sharing some of the, not so wonderful, sides of my life, and how I coped.

I was once sitting in my Explorer and deciding if I wanted to check out of this hotel called earth. the book talks about that, and gives hope to those who may be near the same spot. It also helps those who may be struggling with, anxiety, fear, depression, self-doubt, addictions, hopelessness, and many other of the usual suspects.

You may fit into one of those afflictions, or know someone who is. This books has been helpful to hundreds of people who have sent me emails, called me, or met me in person telling me it helped them cope, and changed their lives.

The book is selling for $19.99 on the retail stores, but if you order off of this site, you will get the special price of $15.99. The shipping has been cut in half as well. A total savings of over $6.00.

When you order you will also receive a copy with an autograph plus a personal note.

If you are interested, click on the tab at the top of this page that says, “bookstore.” you will then see a description, and a copy of the cover. If you also want to see some great endorsements, click on…you got it…. “endorsements,” at the top as well. I hope you will at least check it out, and see why “Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World,”  has helped so many people.

It is raining outside here in the Willamette Valley of the State of Oregon. It is dark and dreary.

This is the 17th of July and it is suppose to be beautiful weather here in Oregon this time of the year.

Does your life seem that way? Do the dark days seem to come more often than the bright days? Do you feel there is too many trials and storms in your life?

You are not alone. I have been there and so have many of the people reading this post right now.

There are some things we can do about it:

  1. Never light the darkness overcome you. God is always there for you.
  2. It is time to stop the pity parties, and become the positive person in other people’s lives.
  3. By being a friend to someone, you can change their lives and help them to enjoy life.

The total now is over 300, in less than a year. It has been said that if a first time author sells 100 books, he/she should feel succesful. I more than feel successful, because my book is helping people cope.

I get emails, calls, and personal testimonies from people on how the book has helped them.
