Finland Officially Becomes a Member of NATO, Doubling the Military Alliance’s Border With Russia
Authorities in Helsinki decided that in the wake of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the country was no longer safe on its own and applied to join the alliance a few months later.

Update on this old warrior’s health:
I have had a final diagnosis. I will need hip replacement surgery. The pain is just too much. They will be giving me a steroid shot. The problem is that here are many people also wanting the shot. My actual date to get my shot is May 27th.
I have pain relievers, and they are helping.
