I have started planning for a huge book signing event in my hometown. It will be at the convention center. I am reaching out to find some sponsors to pay for the room. The room holds 160 people. I will have guest speakers, and have several WWII veterans there.

I hope to have a winery come to sell their wine and give away free drinks. I also hope the winery will donate some bottles to give away at the tables.

Update on this old warrior’s health:

I have had a final diagnosis. I will need hip replacement surgery. The pain is just too much. They will be giving me a steroid shot. The problem is that here are many people also wanting the shot. My actual date to get my shot is May 27th.

I have pain relievers, and they are helping.

The report is the result of many months of investigations by Biden’s administration into the decision-making process of leaving Afghanistan. Many aspects of the pullout were chaotic, and led to 13 U.S. service members being killed near a gate of the Kabul airport by a pair of suicide attacks.
