Signs of Hope was on Talk Radio

I just finished a radio talk show interview, and Maxine Marsolini,  the person who interviewed me, reminded me that I don’t have  information on how you can have your story written in a future book I am working on that will have true stores of Signs of Hope that some of you have had in your lives.

What you do is share your moment where God did some miracle, or changed your life in some way.

Just send your stories to doug@dougbolton.com and if they are chosen you will have your “15 minutes” of fame writing in the up coming book. You will get credit at the end of the story.

What a wonderful interview today. I was able to share a great deal to reach out to those who are suffering in this economy, and talk about my book, “Signs of Hope: Ways to survive in an Unfriendly World.”

You can buy the book right here on this site by clicking on “bookstore,” on the tabs above.

It is also available at www.amazon.com, barnes and Noble .com, www.winepressbooks.com. and at any Rainbow West Christian bookstores in Oregon and Washington.

I have signings coming up at:

You Could Change a Life by Caring

Things are really jumping right now. I have started a full promotion campaign, and I am overjoyed with the results.

Waldport, Oregon City, Gresham, Salem, and Albany, Oregon are all carrying the book. I also have books in two places in Vancouver, WA.  I am sending promotional books to Asheville, NC, and Saddleback, CA. Both places show great interest in carry my book.

The big possibility is a distributor called, Choice Books. They are a national outlet for Christian books. They have circular displays in all the grocery stores and gift shops through-out the nation.

I am sending them a copy, and suggesting they carry my book in all of their clients stores. If they agree it is a minimum 5,000 book order.

This all is happening in the first two weeks since the book was published. Pray that God will grant these opportunities. Not for me, but for all the people that will find hope through the book, Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World.

You can order the book for your self right off of this site. Just go to the tab at the top that says “Bookstore,” and click on it. There is a 50% cut in the shipping cost from now until the end of the year. This helps you with Christmas shopping.

The book deals with anxiety, fear of failure, depression, addictions, self-doubt, and the many other usual suspects.

You can see the many people who have endorsed the book, by clicking on the tab that says, (you guessed it,) ” endorsements.

Now you may be thinking. I am feeling OK. I don’t need a book to help me with all those afflictions you mentioned. Try to think of those around you in your own world.

Is there someone you now who lost a loved one? Did some one just go through a divorce? Is someone battling a serious ailment? Do you have a family member or a friend who is struggling with an addiction? How about a family that has had a foreclosure on their home; a friend who just lost their job?

There are many other afflictions that I haven’t touched on, but you get the picture.

Think of what a wonderful gift it would be if you bought the book;  gave it to someone, and it changed their life? It could happen and you could be the messenger.

Asked God What he is Doing With Your Life? Wrong Approach

I had a very good day today with promoting my book, “Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World.”

I left six at Rainbow West, a christian bookstore in Salem, OR.  I happened to actually meet with the owner (Dave Adams) of not only that store, but six other stores he owns in the Northwest.

He gave me all the managers names, and told me to contact them using his name as a reference.

I had lunch with a friend and he bought a book.

Got a check in the mail for the books I sold at the Oregon Christian Writer’s Conference last weekend.

Sold another one to friend that emailed me. I will give it to her tonight at a dinner.

Eight books in one day. I can accept that.

You can order one right now from this site. The books are selling for $23.95 in the Christian Bookstores, but you can have it for $19.99 plus $4.50 shipping which is just a little higher than  what the stores are charging.

Just go to the tab at the top and click on “Boostore,” and go from there.

If you order from this site, you will get a personal note and an autograph.

Have you ever asked God what He is going to do with your life? That’s not the right approach. God knows what He is doing. You and I don’t. God will lead us to do the right thing.

We need to be willing to go where ever God needs us, and trust Him Completely.

Worrying about what you are to do next is dishonoring God. We need to trust Him and go out to do what ever He calls us to do without fear.
