Don’t Let Satan Control You. UR the Mower and he’s Grass.

It has been pretty exciting around here lately. You will see some updating, and changes to the site. I will talk more about those in a minute. Here are some thoughts for just you and no one else…

  • Do you have walls that seems to be closing in on you. I have been there myself. Do those walls seem too high. wide, and deep for you to handle? Well… Our God is higher, wider, and can go deeper than any wall. Just ask Him for help and he will be there with you the rest of they way.
  • No more Mr./Mrs. nice guy. Don’t  let Satan control your life. Give him the boot. You can be the mower, and he is the grass. God will give you all the strength you need to battle him.
  • The way you think about yourself. decides your destiny. If you don’t like yourself, it is hard to like others. Remember, God made you in His own image. God never makes mistakes, and He didn’t with you either. God has a purpose for you. You just need to pray and find out what that is.

Remember:

You are not alone.

You are not forsaken.

You are not Unloved.

Above all….never, ever,  give up!

I Was Ready to Check Out of This Hotel Called Earth

I am starting a whole new format tomorrow. I will have a podcast for you to listen to, and a trailer for “Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World,” on You Tube for you to watch. Be sure to come back tomorrow to check it out.

It will take a while for this to have at a professional look, but I plan to have interviews with authors, guest posts from authors, and posts that share trends in the publishing business.

It is totally new for me, so I may make some mistakes, and it may  take a while for me to get all the glitches out. However, I feel that this is the direction that God is sending me, and I will keep doing it unitl He says otherwise.

On that note… Are you following the path that God has laid out for you? Are you winging it on your own? I was winging it on my own back in 2001, and it didn’t work for me.

I was literally down to my last breath clinging to a then rope, and ready to check out of this hotel called earth. This was all because I wanted to face life on my own terms, and was sinking in the muck and mire.

I finally cried out to God, “I can’t take this anymore,” and he took me by the hand and has been by carrying me ever since.

Don’t try to go through life alone. Turn all your worries and trials over to God, and let Him lead the way for you.

Remember:

You are never alone.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

Above all….never, ever, give up!

You Are Not Alone, Forsaken, or Unloved.

Well… we are slowly moving to a new format on this site. I hope you like it, and will come back often. While you are here we would love it if you would sign-up for the RSS feed. That helps us climb up in the Google Search Rankings. That means we move up the page when people are searching for us.

The new format we are changing to will be about writing. We will have guest writers, author interviews, trends in publishing, etc.  Let me know if you would like to be be interviewed, or would like to do a guest article on writing. One of the things that always seemed to give me problems was to figure out where to try to sell my books. We all have the online outlets working for us like, Barnes and Noble, and Amazon, but what about in the real world.

I did an interview with none other than John Kremer about month ago. I will be having that podcast right here on this sight shortly. John asked me about unusual places to sells books.

My thoughts for today…

We all have faced trials and storms. They will not go away, and let us live in a dream world. Many times we feel like we are being dragged down by a huge magnate. We seem to be drowning in the muck and mire.

How can we survive in all of this turmoil?

WE need to rely on God to hold us by the hand and walk the paths we take with us. He is always there anyway, we just need to ask him for help.

He will still allow the storms, but He will help calm them. Many times adversity helps us grow.

In closing..

You are not alone.

You are not forsaken.

You are not unloved.

Above all… Never, ever, give up!
