The Zaporizhzhia region of southeast Ukraine has become the most recent hot spot for battles in the 18-month war, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Tuesday, as Kyiv’s forces press ahead with their counteroffensive.

Russia wants more weapons for its war in Ukraine, and a North Korean delegation recently traveled to Russia by train to plan for Kim Jong Un’s visit this month, officials say.

If Kim Jong Un gives Russia weapons, the US warns there will be action against them. Rightfully so. The dictator seems to have a death wish. Everything he does moves him closer to oblivion.

It is such a waste of time to have to deal with North Korea. They would be wiped out very quickly if they ever stated a war.

We often forget the heroics of our veterans in WWII. I love the story about a WWII pilot who shot down 6 Japanese bombers in one mission. He was declared an ace on his first mission.

The are many more stories that have been forgotten, but I interviewed four WWII veterans for my new book, and they are amazing. Each one had a near death experience. They didn’t do anything heroic, but put their lives on the line.

The book is called, Signs of Hope for the Military: In and Out of the Trenches of Life.

A new law enacts sweeping changes to make prosecutions for serious offenses like sexual assault or murder more fair. The Navy is still fighting a ProPublica lawsuit to make those court cases public.

North Korea is doing everything they can start a war. Just doesn’t make sense. They have a mighty ground force, but the rest is lacking. With Japan, South Korea, and the US working together it will be a very short war.

If they use nuclear weapons the war will be over in a day.
