What a rare mood I’m in. It has brought me a grin. It’s because the election outcome is almost in..

The tallies are still going and it is very tight. Our world will change big time no matter who wins the presidency.

I had a very interesting doctor’s appointment this morning.

My doctor surprised me with what they call a test that is for dementia. He handed me a sheet of paper with different things to do to test your memory.

The first two assignments I blew. The first one was to draw lines from one to ten, like a dot to dot. I forgot the ten. BUSTED!

The second one was to copy a square that was drawn on the sheet. It was an optic illusion for me, and I completely failed that. BUSTED!

Then he had me read five words in a row three times, He then had me wait a couple minutes and say them again without looking. PASSED IT!

The next one was easy for me. It was just pictures of three animals and I had to identify them PASSED IT!

Then he read a sentence and had me repeat it. He read two sentences. I was able to repeat them. PASSED IT!

He went on to ask me what year it was; what month, and what was the date today. He finished with what day of the week it was. I blocked my brain on that one. It is because I am retired and I don’t keep track of what day it is very often. Before he could start the next faze I blurted out Wednesday! Passed it!

He closed with the game stopper if I didn’t get it right.

He asked me to repeat the five words he had me say at the very beginning of the test. I named 4 out of 5. He said that is the best that any patient has done on the test ever. PASSED IT!

Score: 27-out of 30!

So what he is saying to me is that my thinking is spot on still. He suggested I do crossword puzzles to keep the brain going strong. I do those puzzles, and lots of solitaire each day.

I have been following the updates on the military and their improving of weapons.

I am so impressed. We, without a doubt, have the best weapons, bombs, air power, etc. on the plant. That is because President Trump supports the military so much.

Anarchists are Again Destroying Portland, Oregon

“Another day; another dollar.”

That was a saying I remember from my childhood. Except they really meant it. A dollar went a long way back then. Now it costs way over a dollar just for a cup of coffee.

Over the years inflation has raised its ugly head. Now if you don’t make over the poverty line in the United States, you are in big trouble.

I just saw that Portland is still under siege.

Last night anarchist tore down two prominent statues. One was Teddy Roosevelt, and the other was Abraham Lincoln. Two great leaders from the past. Can’t be rioting for just for black people anymore when they destroy Abraham Lincoln’s statue.

It is just plain attempts to over throw our government to cause panic.

I think it is time to go in and clean up these messes once and for all. Bring in the National Guard, The Feds, or whom ever we need to end this nightmare.

Yes, they have President Trump losing

by double digits in the upcoming election, which is less than a month away by the way.

I am here to tell you that Trump will win in a landslide! No question about it. I have reasons why this will happen.

  1. So many voters are afraid to say they will vote for Trump, because of harm to be done if they do.
  2. Most of the polls are hand selected people that seem to be people who are anti Trump.
  3. Trump has been doing a great job. Why would anyone in the right mind vote otherwise?

These are all my opinions, but I am convinced I am right. We will know in a few weeks.

For example: They now can have unmanned tanks guided by drones. No loss of life. These tanks are much faster; have stronger weapons, and thicker shells.

The Transition to Civilian Life is Tough For the Military

Just saw a video about Swedish soldiers in training. They looked awesome. They will be great at helping us defend. They are just one of many allies who are preparing for battle.

This tells me that we are in good shape at this time. We had trouble getting support in the past. Very reassuring.

There are rumors that President Trump is going to have the National Guard watching polling places. What do you think of that? I am in favor of that after seeing how many cases of fraud and destroying of ballots have occurred already. What ever we can do to have a vailed election.

My state has had mail in ballots for years. Seems to work here, but states that have never had it before have too many chances for mistakes.

I lost a very close buddy a couple of weeks ago. He was a veteran like me. He was out riding his bike and had a heart attack. The loss is extremely hard. Still grieving over it.

Have you lost a Military buddy? I have lost three total. Each one was devastating to me.

Two were while I was on active duty. I shared these stories in an earlier posts.

What many of us face when we get out of the military is acceptance. The transition is hard, at best. Some adjust quickly, but others who deal with PTSD, TBI, depression, etc., have a hard time facing the world. It is those that I am reaching out to in my upcoming book, Signs of Hope for the Military: In and Out of the Trenches of life.

I share my own stories, and then relate them to the reader as how to overcome their fears.

One story I shared in the book was about a day I was on Hill 468 in Korea. I was running a line for teletyping. I was to listen to the airways for breaches of security. As I was doing this the light and the equipment started shutting down. I went out and found that the generator was out of gas.

I climbed up on the big generator with a can of gas. Just about when I was finished, I started to fall. I was going to land very hard if I didn’t grab something. Unfortunately what I grabbed, was the manifold of the generator. It severely burnt my hand. I got back into the hut with severe pain. The skin was burnt off of my left hand.

Now what??

I had to continue to monitor the airways. I had to use only my right hand to operate things. My left hand was wrapped in a make shift bandage.

Why didn’t I radio down to the headquarters for help? My military training taught me that I can’t leave my post. Stay there and be strong.

I used that story to reach out to those who face trouble and want to run. Face your problems no matter what.
