Pentagon says Chinese fighter buzzed US Air Force jet in ‘unsafe’ intercept over South China Sea
U.S. officials said a People’s Liberation Army Navy J-11 fighter maneuvered within about 10 feet of a U.S. RC-135 Rivet Joint reconnaissance plane’s wing during the intercept Dec. 21.

It seems to me that China is up to no good. Their attempts to intimidate our Air Force flying in the Taiwan area is frightening. They don’t seem to care. The last interaction had their planes within ten feet of a US plane. That is insane.

North Korea is getting very hostile. It is now loading up their weapons with nuclear devices.

Russia is stinging from the Ukrainian forces. The last report said that 840 Russians were killed in one day. Putin needs to wake up and have peace talks. It is his only way to come out alive.

It has been a while since I last did a rant. I will rant today:

  1. President Biden has made so many bad mistakes our country is falling apart.
  2. Our troops need to be paid more.
  3. Leaving a Marine behind in Russia, is not acceptable.
  4. Give our troops better housing. Some places are a joke.
  5. Always hire a veteran first. They have been there and done that.
  6. The VA has a long history of denying veterans compensation. Time for a change.
  7. Some people do not like the military. Maybe they should see what it is like not to have one.
  8. Not all military people are good. There are some bad apples in the barrel.
  9. The way people treated our Vietnam veterans was appalling. They fought for our country.
  10. People need to think about enlisting. There is a severe shortage right now.

For you information, I just posted my 800th post last Friday. It has been a long journey, and thank you for being there with me.

________________________________________________________________

I was having coffee with some friends recently, and I talked to them about this site. A heated discussion started. Most of the people thought it was a great idea, and subscribed later to my site. However, one asked why he should subscribe. I said it is a site to help veterans. He went on to think I was just doing it to get praise. My blood pressure went up a little, and I said, ” I have no reason for praise.” He scoffed and said he would think about it. He never subscribed.

There are far too many civilians who have that mentality. They do not like the military, and do not like how much is spent for them. They never seem to think what it would be like if we didn’t have a military.

If you have faced these kind of people, be strong and assure them that you are proud you served.
