The Pentagon announced the U.S. is sending another $800 million in aid to assist Ukrainian forces that includes cluster munitions as U.S. officials defended providing Ukraine the controversial weapon to help their attack on entrenched Russian troops.

President Biden has authorized the use of Cluster Bombs for Ukraine to use. They are deadly bombs. When they hit they spread out many small bombs to kill anything near them.

Is this a right thing to do? Actually they have been used in Iraq, and Afghanistan. There is nothing illegal about them unless they are used on civilians. These will be used to hit the trenches of the Russian front.

Military suicides rose in 1st quarter of 2023 compared to same time last year, Pentagon report says
The Army had the greatest increase in suicide deaths, from 37 to 49. The Marine Corps increased from eight to 14. The Air Force had one additional suicide compared to 2022 and there was no change for the Navy or Space Force, the Defense Department report states.

How easy it is to forget. We should never forget the disaster in Afghanistan. It was a huge embarrassment for the US. Lost American lives. Thousands of Afghan people stranded. Hundreds of Americans left high and dry.

It couldn’t have gotten much worse, and it seems the White House may have successfully covered it up.
