Some people feel there is no hope. There are those who have lost their jobs. There are others who have lost a loved one, or have some bad news from their doctor. Where is the hope there?

I have been in the deep muck and more wondering the same things. I have been at the corner of despair and hopelessness.

I almost gave up myself. I was sitting in my Ford Explorer and thinking of suicide. It was at that point that I cried out to God that I couldn’t take it anymore. God heard my cries and gave me a calmness I hadn’t felt in  months. He lifted me out of that muck and mire, and give me direction to write my book, “Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World.”

You can have the same thing happen to you. Never let the scams of Satan sway your thinking into feeling that all is lost. God is always just a prayer away. My prayer was answer right on the spot.

Sometimes His timing isn’t that fast. We often don’t get a answer right away. God’s timing is perfect, however. He knows when the right time is for us.

Remember:

You are never alone.

You are never forsaken.

You are  never unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!

Why do we waste our days away worrying about tomorrow? God provides food for the little sparrows, don’t you think He will provide food and help for those He created in His own image?

I spent too much time having pity parties that no one wanted to come to. I wallowed around in the muck and mire, drowning in my own thoughts of self-doubt, anxiety, depression, and even hopelessness.

I wasted too many days where I could have enjoyed life. I should have been praising God for each day instead of crying my eyes out for no reason.

That is behind me now. Why? because I cried out to God that I couldn’t take this rat race anymore, and He calmed me down right during that prayer. It was like He was saying, “It’s about time you came back to Me. Now let Me carry you the rest of the way.”

You don’t have to waste one more minute feeling down and out. Just pray to God for help, and He will show you the right path to see joy and happiness.

Yes, it may take a while. Wounds need time to heal, but if you keep up the faith and talk to God everyday like I do now, you will see a change in your life that will see  you through the storms of life.

Remember:

You are not alone.

You are not forsaken.

You are not unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!

I have a book signing coming up on August 24th that runs for 11 straight days to September 3rd. It is at the Oregon State Fair, in Salem, Oregon. Many of you have come by to say hi. Thank you for that. You also picked up some business cards. If you decide you would still like to buy a book, you can by just putting in the underlined or marked site I put on the card, and you will come to this site. Then just click on the Amazon.com icon on the right, and you can order the book, or order the eBook there.

Thoughts just for you..

As I sat watching hundreds of people walking by my author’s table, I could see stories there. Some people seemed lost. They were walking aimlessly. Others seemed to be on a mission. They couldn’t get where they were going fast enough.

Then there were the curious. They stopped by and asked me about my book. They looked at the title, “Signs of Hope.”  They wanted to know what some signs of hope were. I told them about faith. I told them about never giving up. I shared with them that they were special, and that they had purpose in live.

That didn’t always sell a book, which would have been nice, but that isn’t my main purpose being at the State fair.  The people  left with a new look on their faces. They had hope. They seemed to have  a new bounce in their feet.

Do you have that feeling of anxiety, fear, depression, self-doubt, or even hopelessness haunting you?

You need to know that you always have a friend with you. You have a heavenly Father who cares about you. He will see you through the muck and the mire. He will hold your hand during the storms of life you face.

Never assume no one cares.

Remember:

You are never alone.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up.
