I haven’t posted for almost two months. I have had adversity in its highest form, and it has slowed me down.

I lost my mother on February 1st. She was 95 years old, but there is still a time of grieving when you lose a loved one. I also had some health issues with my heart. I have A-Fib, and a damaged heart from a previous heart attack.

I also lost a dear friend within hours of my mother’s death.

I am back now, and still strong with the Lord.  All this adversity seemed to make me even stronger. It made me think of how short a life time we have on this earth, and that we need be thankful for every day we have.

As I mentioned up in the lead in area my book, “Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World, has been out in eBook form for about a year. However, we just lowered the price from $4.99 to $2.99. That is quite a savings. Please check it out by clicking on the Amazon icon on the right. Think of Easter coming and how it could help many through the storms of life.

Remember:

You are never alone.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!

Thoughts just for you….

Do you have control over your emotions? When someone wrongs you do you seek revenge?

We all know there is no such thing as a perfect person. We all have some faults that we carry around like excess baggage.

We can’t try to go through this unfriendly world on our own. If we try to master ourselves and our emotions, that is one too many chiefs.

Only God can help us and guide us down the right path. Only God knows what is best for us. Only God knows every hair on our head. He created us, and knows our every faults warts and all.

We can’t try to master our destiny on our own. Some people have, and failed mightily.

Depend on God, only, to help you make wise decisions. Use Him to guide you in your daily life. Pray to Him for wisdom, and understanding of this world. He will show you paths you never dreamed were possible, and make sure you stay away from doing something you will regret later.

Remember:

You are not alone.

You are not forsaken.

You are not unloved.

Above all….never, ever, give up!

Thoughts just for you…

Have you ever been so angry that you wanted to even with someone for something they did to hurt you? That seems like the natural thing to do doesn’t it? We can’t let anyone get away from hurting us.

Let me share this:

Jesus never got even. He never struck back at anyone. Did He ever get angry? Yes, at the temple. However, He never did anything that harmed or hurt anyone.

This is the example we need to try to follow. The old saying, “What would Jesus do,” fist into the picture real well. If we just used that idea every time we want to hurt someone it may stop us from doing something we may be sorry for later.

When we hurt someone, we hurt ourselves.

Remember:

You are never alone.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!
