Thoughts just for you..

As I sat watching hundreds of people walking by my author’s table, I could see stories there. Some people seemed lost. They were walking aimlessly. Others seemed to be on a mission. They couldn’t get where they were going fast enough.

Then there were the curious. They stopped by and asked me about my book. They looked at the title, “Signs of Hope.”  They wanted to know what some signs of hope were. I told them about faith. I told them about never giving up. I shared with them that they were special, and that they had purpose in live.

That didn’t always sell a book, which would have been nice, but that isn’t my main purpose being at the State fair.  The people  left with a new look on their faces. They had hope. They seemed to have  a new bounce in their feet.

Do you have that feeling of anxiety, fear, depression, self-doubt, or even hopelessness haunting you?

You need to know that you always have a friend with you. You have a heavenly Father who cares about you. He will see you through the muck and the mire. He will hold your hand during the storms of life you face.

Never assume no one cares.

Remember:

You are never alone.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up.

Some thoughts just for you…

I have found, through my own experience, that not all days are fun and glorious. We all have some days where the dark clouds hang around and darken our lives.

It isn’t easy when those days come. We fret and worry about tomorrow. We fight depression, and anxiety. We go into our shell of self-pity.

However, through my own experince I have also learned that I am never alone. I never can say that no body cares. I always have my heavenly Father who is watching out for me.

If you are battling any of these afflictions, cling to the hope of God. He is just a prayer away. He is much bigger than any walls you will face.

He will not always stop the storms, but He will help calm them.

Remember:

You are not alone.

You are not forsaken.

You are not unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!

Some thoughts just for you…

Why do we seem to fall apart at the slightest adversity that comes our way? I sure have. I can be emotional at times when my wife says I had over done it. I am not a cry baby, but when things turn south, and the waters seem rough, I sometimes get full of anxiety and fear.

If you are with me on this, let’s see what we can do to stop letting this happen to us:

  • I once thought God could never use a plain, dull, guy like me and then I read how many under qualified people God used to fulfill His glory. Moses; Peter, David, Joshua, Sarah, and the list goes on. All of these people were ordinary before God called them. There is hope for me!
  • I hate it when the clouds come into my life, and it seems dark. But God is there when we are on the highest mountain in our lives, and when we are in the dark, low valleys as well.
  • Another thought on the dark. If it wasn’t for the darkness, we could see the stars that God created for us.
  • The world is full of cacti, but we don’t need to sit on one. Avoid the trials and storms that come. Let God take care of them, and all you have to do then is to live in His glory.
  • Courage is fear before it said its prayers. We all face fear. We worry; we fret. God is much stronger, higher, and wider than any walls you may face. Let Him take our your personal giants.
  • Worry is the dark room where negatives develop. 99% of what we ever worry about never happen. Turn the other 01 % over to God.

Use these thoughts to guide you today. I will some more thoughts on Friday.

Remember:

You are not alone.

You are not forsaken.

You are not unloved.

And above all…Never, ever, give up!
