I am now listening to, on TV, the words from Gold Star Parents. There is much anger and tears from each of them. They are sharing how much they loved their children. They are sharing how broken they are from losing their loved ones.

The tears fell from their faces. They couldn’t stress how angry they are with how the Afghan withdraw was conducted. It didn’t have to happen.

I feel their pain. I can’t imagine losing one of my children. It Just DIDN”T have to happen.

I had a tough week on vacation. I had real trouble with pain. I tried to hide it from the family, but they could see I was struggling. Especially the last day, because we went down to the Sun River Village, and had dinner. I had to walk too far, and I paid for it.

You have heard of jet lag, well I had body lag.

It was well worth it though to be with family.

I am saddened to see that the support for our troops had reached a two decade low. They go and serve their country to keep us free. The public has lost confidence in them.

I will do everything in my power to bring back patriots that care for our veterans.

It makes me proud to know how many soldiers are fighting in Ukraine. The question is why?

Why would they go to another country, and put themselves in harms way?

I think I know the answer. It isn’t that they are fighting to protect their own country. They are fighting to protect the lives of innocent people.
