It has been over 11 weeks since Ukrainian forces wrested back part of Kherson province from Russian occupation. But liberation hasn’t diminished the hardship for residents.

it seems like Ukraine is doing a great job of fighting off Russia. There are over 113,000 Russians killed so far. That is more than full time wars from the past. When will Putin learn? Take defeat and get out of Ukraine.

This old soldier is facing the age of physical problems. Arthritis in my hip has been very painful lately. I am trying some strong pain relievers and it seems to be helping.

Criminal charge dropped against former Afghan soldier detained after crossing US border

The misdemeanor against Abdul Wasi Safi was dropped, with a judge’s letter accepting the dismissal of the case received Tuesday, according to court records.

It seems that Putin is a mad man wanting war so he can gain power. It is not working for him. Some say he will fight till he death. I think that is coming soon.

When I was deployed to South Korea I found out that the people there were mostly friendly. They were glad we were there to protect them. There were a few who didn’t like us there, and they threw rocks at our vehicles.

I want to remind you that you should never give up on trying to get compensation from the military. They tend to deny automatically when you first apply. There are groups that can help you apply.

It was great to just be able to talk to him. He is 98 years young and looking great.

My interview with him was full of near death experiences, and stories about freeing Jews from concentration camps. It is a must read.
