I am so fed up with the war in Ukraine. I talked to a guy that is also fed up. He was very extreme.

” What we should do is have all the allies drop nuclear bombs on Russia at once. Total surprise, and they wouldn’t be able to defend it. Russia would not be a real nation after that. Just fragmentation.”

I didn’t even know how to respond! That would be awful. Millions of people dying, because of one man’s dictatorship. What about the fallout??

Three days ago I came down with COVID, my second time. Wednesday was a nightmare. I was so weak I could hardly go to the bathroom. When I did try I dribbled in my PJ’s all the way. I had no control. Very hopeless feeling.

Today I am much better! Got the right medicine. Feel 90% OK. My wife came down with it too.

Just finished an interview with the daughter of a WWII nurse. Some gripping thoughts there. The nurse, Velma Sundet was a hero to many soldiers during the war. She saved many lives.

I only have one other interview left. That is with a Gold Star father. I will be talking to him this week.

I had a sorta funny thing happen to me as I traveled to Ft. Devens Mass. My buddy and I were supposed to get off at Worchester. We listened carefully to the conductors naming of the next stop.

Soon he stated, “Next stop Wooster! ” We sat back thinking it was the wrong stop. Then as we pulled out we saw the sign that named the stop. It said Worchester. The conductor was speaking is the east coast language.

We got off at the next stop and my buddies relatives came and got us.
