The hardest people for me to interview for my upcoming book, Signs of Hope for the Military: In and Out of the trenches of Life, are the Vietnam soldiers. They bury their thoughts and refuse to share them.

I had a few open up a little, but it was very difficult to pry it out of them.

Many soldiers lost buddies and that broke them down immensely. They talk about how they shouldn’t be here, because their buddies are not.

I have an interview coming up in the book that will knock your socks off. He is a Vietnam veteran and had openly fully to his time in vietnam. This one interview should be enough for you to buy the book.

He was wounded three times, and still went back to more times to Vietnam. You only had to go one time, and he went three.

I have been struggling lately. I have been diagnosed with severe multilevel degenerative disc disease, and facet arthrosis throughout the lumbar spine. The pain is very hard to handle. I am taking some meds to help, but the pain is still there.

I have been referred to an orthopedic doctor. Waiting to get his call to schedule.

I went to acupuncture, but the doctor there decided that my problem was too big for him to handle.

_______________________________________________________________

I know that my back problems are from a jeep accident I had in the military. I was thrown from the jeep back first onto a big boulder. The impact was so hard I lost consciousness. I woke up in a medic tent screaming in pain. They rushed to get me some morphine. That helped.

I have had three back surgeries through the years and still deal with a lot of pain.

_______________________________________________________________

Why do I whine? It is because I encourage all my brothers and sisters in the military to reach out for help. So many veterans end their lives because they are tired of the pain.

Seek help if you need it!!

I am down to my last three interviews for my upcoming book, Signs of hope for the Military: In ans Out of the Trenches of life.

Those interviews are:

    1. Charles Strange- a Gold Star father 2.

    Milton Hoch- a Vietnam veteran.

    3. A submariner who was on a nuclear sub.

These three interviews will be exciting. The Vietnam interview will be riveting, and most interesting.

Keep coming back to check the latest on these and other news on the book. better yet…go to the top of this page and click on subscribe. When you do ll future posts will go directly to your mailbox.
