The election is over in the United States, and we have another four years of the same  president. What does that mean to you? Are you happy or disappointed?

I personally had the worst time deciding who to vote for in my many years of being able to vote. It was difficult at best. The person I voted for didn’t win, but this is what I suggest to both sides:

  • It matters who wins, but it matters more that we pray for whoever wins. I will be praying that our president tries very hard to work with both parties, and come up with some solutions. The last four years have been fighting and bickering amongst themselves, and haven’t accomplished much of anything.
  • I  will pray for open minds, and understanding listeners. People who want what is best for their country and not what is best for their party.
  • I will pray for a president who seeks union amongst all people, and leads the fight to what is best for those forgotten in the trials and storms of life.

Think about what you feel you need to pray about and “just do it.”

Remember:

You are never alone.

You are never forsaken.

You are never unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!

Have you had someone hurt you with words? Do you feel they should be punished?

That is a common thinking process for many of us. When someone hurts us we feel the urge to get even, or try to hurt them back.

We tend to judge them as someone who will never see God or go to heaven because of their actions.

This is where we need to remember that God is the final judge. he will have His Son Jesus Christ judging people on that final day. Everything we do is written in the book of life. Every action we performed, good or bad, will be there.

Those people who wronged us will be judged, but so will we.

Our task on this earth is to forgive and forget. We shouldn’t be holding grudges against others. Let God decide on their actions at the appointed time.

Remember:

You are not alone.

You are not forsaken.

You are not unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!

2. I will have and e-book coming out in a couple of weeks of the same book. It will be able to be bought at Amazon.com. Barnes & Noble, etc. The price will probably be $3.99. _______________________________________________________

If you have read my book, “Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World,” you will have seen that all the chapters start with a bumper sticker. What follows are some that didn’t make it into that book, but will be used in future books:

  • Honk  if you love Jesus. Text while you are driving if you want to meet Him.
  • Easter is more than something to dye for.
  • Need a life guard? Jesus walks on water.
  • Be an organ donor. Give your heart to Jesus.
  • Prayer- wireless access to God with no roaming fees.
  • Forbidden fruits create many jams.
  • Ge right or get left.
  • God is like a detergent. He gets the stains out others have left.
  • I’m making a list and checking it twice. -God
  • Sun screen prevents sin burn.
  • You have Facebook friend request from Jesus. Confirm or ignore.
  • Dust on your Bible can lead to dirt in your life.
  • Get off Facebook and read my book. -God.

My own thought I add every time I post: Never, ever, give up!

You can see that bumper stickers tell a story in themselves. That is why I was able to write a whole book with their titles, and make some words to live by through them.

The book, “Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World,” reaches ou to those who may be suffering from, Anxiety, fear, depression, addictions. self-doubt, hopelessness, etc.
