It’s Friday, and the weekend is creeping up on me. The weather is beautiful, and everything seems fine.

When things are going great, is that when we think we don’t need to pray? Many people feel that way. They only cry out to God when  a storm hits.

I have found that less storms hit when I talk to God everyday. I am nto saying that you will never face trials when you pray everyday. God allows some trials, so we will still depend on Him for protection.

I try to do my devotions everyday rain or shine;  good things happening or bad.

I find comfort just spending time with God, and praying for those I care about. It also forces me to think of others that I may not think about if I am not praying for them.

Prayer, and spending time with God is essential for Christian growth. Some people feel that going to church is enough, but to be growing spiritually, I feel that we need to spend time with God during the week as well.

Got to go…it is time for my devotions.

Remember:

You are not alone.

You are not forsaken.

You are not unloved.

And above all…never, ever, give up!
