I Had a Dream! I Stopped Letting Walls Stop Me

I had a dream! In my dream I felt that I could accomplish a great deal if I just believed in myself. Too often we all stop moving forward because we don’t have confidence in our abilities.

In my dream  I stopped letting walls stop me. I turned all the walls over to God, and I knew He was much taller and stronger than any wall.

I dreamed of crossroads that where I made the right decisions and go the path that God has chosen for me, and not the road that Satan wants me to go on.

I dreamed that 99% of everything I worried about never really happened, and I  turned to other 01% over to God.

This doesn’t have to be a dream my friends. All of it is right there for you. All you have to do is believe in yourself and God.

With God on your side, who can be against you?

We Sometimes Wonder Where God is

I just received notice that I will be one of the authors doing signings at the Oregon State Fair this year. That should fun.

If you are in that area from August 26th- September 5th, drop by and say hello!

I told you that I was in eastern Oregon Visiting my daughter-in-law this week. It has been a wonderful experience. Spending time with her has been a blessing.

I was just outside to get some fresh air, and two quails walked right in front of me. They didn’t seem to be too afraid, as long as I didn’t make any sudden movements.

At night the skies here are incredible. There are no city lights here and the brilliance of the stars takes your breath away.

This reminds me that God created everything we see. The majesty of the snow capped mountains I’ve been seeing all this week are a good example.

Sometimes we wonder if God is there. We have times when everything seems to go wrong. The car won’t start and you are late for work. The illness you thought had gone away is back again with a vengence. That job you have had for years has disappeared.

This brings on the usual suspects we face: anxiety, depression, self-doubt, addictions, fear, etc.

I understand most of those afflictions. I have felt lost, and didn’t know what to do. Then I found that God was there and He has been there for me ever since.

If you are having some of these difficulties, there is a new book that I had published called, “Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World.” It is full of examples that shares common sense ways to cope in a not so friendly world.

There is a special sale going on right now. In the stores the books is $19.99, but if you order directly from this site you will be paying only $15.99. the shipping is also cut in half. A total savings of over $6.00.

To take a look at the book, just go to the “bookstore,” tab at the top of this page. When you click on it, you will see a description, and picture of the cover.  There is aa “endorsement,” tab at the top that shows some wonderful endorsements. Check that out as well.

I hope you take a couple minutes to check it out. It could chnage your life, or someone you love.

Find Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World

I am enjoying some time visiting my daughter-in-law in LaPine, Oregon. It is way out in the middle of central Oregon away from any big cities, and at night there aren’t any city lights. I am able to type this around a camp fire tonight, and be able to see the Big Dipper about as clear as you could possibly see it. The stars tonight are aglow with the splendor that only our God could create.

Do you see the lights well? Is the hindrance from outside sources making your view of the lights dim?

Many of us have been there. At one time I was totally in the dark, feeling around trying to find my way in life. I battled depression, anxiety, fear, self-doubt, and many of the other afflictions that block our view of life.

Then I opened my heart to the LORD, and the lights came on. I could see for ever. I knew that the LORD took on all of my afflictions  so that I would have the burden of them anymore.

Stop letting the world pull you down like a huge magnate. Turn all your worries over to the LORD.

Many of the afflictions I spoke of above are part of a new book I have written called, “Signs of Hope: Ways to Survive in an Unfriendly World.”

This book covers ways to cope, if you have faced any afflictions that are causing you to only see foggy days, and dreary nights.

There is a special sale going on right now. The regular price in the stores is $19.99, and juts on this site it is $15.99. The shipping cost has been cut in half as well. A total savings of over $6.00.

You can check it out by going up to the top of this page and clicking on “Bookstore.” It will shows you a description, and a picture of the cover. I hope you will take a second to do that. There have been some wonderful reviews coming in for the book.

If you want to see some endorsements, you can also go to the top of this page and  click on “endorsements.”

God bless…. AND never, ever give up!
