Thoughts just for you…
As I am sitting here typing, there are “bombs,” going off outside. It is the 4th of July, here in the U.S.A., and we celebrate out independence on this day.
As I hear the fireworks go off, I am reminded how we became independent in 1776. We fought for what we felt was our right to freedom.
We continue, 236 years later, fighting for our freedoms.
We have broadened our vision, and are fighting for freedoms in many other countries around the world.
One of the freedoms we have in my country is the right to worship in our churches. I thank God for the right.
I think of the many other countries that forbid people for gathering together to worship. The persecution is so harsh, that many are dying for their beliefs.
If you live in one of those countries and are a Christian, don’t ever give up! Stay the course, and then receive the blessing from God as He says, “You have fought the good fight. You have finished the race. You have kept the Faith.” (I Timothy 4:7)
You are never alone.
You are never forsaken.
You are never unloved.
Above all…never, ever, give, up!
