A little known fact about the Ukraine war, is that there are many American veterans fighting there. They are Iraq veterans, and they are fighting to help a country that is fighting for its life.

I am honored to know them in that they love freedom so much that they would do this.

Never forget our veterans who take that extra step to reach out to protect people. They are my heroes.

Just finished an interview with the daughter of a WWII nurse. Some gripping thoughts there. The nurse, Velma Sundet was a hero to many soldiers during the war. She saved many lives.

I only have one other interview left. That is with a Gold Star father. I will be talking to him this week.
