It’s Been Way too Long

I am letting you know that I have been down with illness for two years today. I’m still struggling, but I couldn’t wait any longer for the pain to go away.

I’m moving on and letting you know that the format is taking a big change, From now on I will be posting military information. I am a veteran and I love my follow veterans, and current military.

I will be reaching out to them everyday.

I will be starting this on Monday. So keep coming back to read all the military news, and my own thoughts.

Boise was his home, but Ukraine became his cause: Idaho Army veteran died ‘hero’s death’

More than 100 people came together at Nick Maimer’s recent memorial in Boise that included the formal presentation of an American flag to his mother and other military honors, and a subsequent celebration of life. Maimer was killed in May in Bakhmut, Ukraine.

US military stops drone attacks on bases in Iraq 
The attack at al Asad Air Base involved two drones, and U.S. forces destroyed one and damaged the other, leading to minor injuries, Pentagon officials said. CENTCOM said there was another attack at al-Harir air base in northern Iraq, in which a drone was destroyed by U.S. forces.

B-52 bomber makes rare touchdown in South Korea, may take part in trilateral drills

The first B-52H Stratofortress to land on the Korean Peninsula in at least 30 years may become the centerpiece of aerial drills between the U.S., South Korea and Japan.

China is ramping up nukes, disrupting Indo-Pacific and pressing on Taiwan, Pentagon report finds China is ramping up production of nuclear weapons, increasing pressure on Taiwan and becoming more distrustful of other nations, the Pentagon revealed Thursday in its annual report on the strength of the Chinese military.

China has a stockpile of 500 nuclear warheads, up from 400 last year
The Defense Department has released its latest report on Chinese military power. And there’s more nukes and ships than ever before.

Seems like I am pounding the Israel war a little too much, But it is getting furious over there. There are now 30 Americans dead. The good news, I just heard a few minutes ago, is that the Hamas have released two American citizens. A mother and daughter from Chicago. Praise the Lord for that.

However, our military bases in Syria, and Iraq are being bomb with drones. One civilian killed. There is no doubt that Iran is behind this. We are able to stop most of the drones, but some are slipping through.

Judge rules in favor of veteran in Oregon prison seeking PTSD treatment

An Oregon judge has sided with U.S. Army veteran Michael LaSeur, who petitioned for better treatment for his post-traumatic stress disorder while incarcerated at Snake River Correctional Institution.

Water runs out at UN shelters in Gaza and medics fear for patients as Israeli ground offensive looms

Israel has cut off the flow of food, medicine, water and electricity to Gaza, pounded neighborhoods with airstrikes and told the estimated 1 million residents of the north to flee south ahead of Israel’s planned attack.

The death toll of Americans killed in Israel is up to 29 now. Many others may be hostages. This is a true war, even though people are trying to down play it.

We need to do something in return. Not sure our president is up to that. He seems very weak to me.
