Prigozhin has moved to Belarus, and Russia won’t press charges for mutiny

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has confirmed that Yevgeny Prigozhin has arrived in Belarus after his short-lived armed mutiny in Russia. Prigozhin, the head of the mercenary group Wagner, was exiled to Belarus as part of the deal that ended the weekend mutiny.

A group of bipartisan lawmakers is set to reintroduce the Stop Price Gouging the Military Act, which would close acquisition law loopholes, tie financial incentives for contractors to performance, and provide the Department of Defense with information to prevent future rip-offs.

Senate committee’s defense bill includes $2B for amphibious ship, a pay raise for troops, and a report on DOD’s abortion policy
The Senate Armed Services Committee on Friday said its members have agreed to authorize about $845 billion for the Pentagon for fiscal 2024 with funding to give troops a pay raise, more weapons to deter China and build a new amphibious ship.

I am so fed up with the war in Ukraine. I talked to a guy that is also fed up. He was very extreme.

” What we should do is have all the allies drop nuclear bombs on Russia at once. Total surprise, and they wouldn’t be able to defend it. Russia would not be a real nation after that. Just fragmentation.”

I didn’t even know how to respond! That would be awful. Millions of people dying, because of one man’s dictatorship. What about the fallout??

Three days ago I came down with COVID, my second time. Wednesday was a nightmare. I was so weak I could hardly go to the bathroom. When I did try I dribbled in my PJ’s all the way. I had no control. Very hopeless feeling.

Today I am much better! Got the right medicine. Feel 90% OK. My wife came down with it too.
